Join us at our workshop in South East London to make your very own unique resin and waney edge wood coffee table. We will teach you everything you need to know about this process from the mould set up, to preparing your wood, mixing colours and pouring resin. This course will take place over 2 consecutive Sundays and you will leave with a table you have designed and built yourself.

If you'd like to practice this process before joining us on the coffee table course, we recommend joining us for our beginners resin and woodworking course where you will make a mini version of the table.  

An apron, tools and materials will all be provided, but we do recommend you wear old clothes as resin can be messy business! 

The class will last approximately 6 hours over two consecutive Sundays.

Brilliant. Two days very much hands on from a true novice to acheive a beautiful table top.  Atrisan environment, light, airy, everything you need and when it comes to tools - the best in the market. Feeling like I'd done everything myself but also realising how Richard provided instruction, guidance as well as small nudges and artistic insightul encouragement to maximise both our enjoyment and recovery from our mistakes throughout.  
Yes we went over the posted hours, but to be honest, being absorbed and involved inthe whole resin river table process felt like time didn't matter.  Two outcomes - walking away with a resin river table I made and am proud of as well as a trigger to explore further with the lessons I have gained.  
And don't get me going on the absolute joy of having such free access to the Festool tools.

Join us for a hands-on carpentry course where you will assemble and finish a beautifully crafted trinket box .

We will go through all the steps needed to make your very own, unique resin seascape. Our coastal artwork class gives you a taste of pouring resin by making a set of coasters. 

For the more adventurous among you, we have a variety of additional upgrades available for you on the day. After you've done your coasters, you can turn your newfound skill to pouring seascapes on one of our: side tables, serving trays or even your very own wall art piece. 

The course duration is set at 2.5 hours. This is ample time for you to arrive, receive a briefing and get your coasters coated in a seascape. We will allocate an additional 90 minutes for anybody that wishes to do another pour on any of our additional products we have in stock on the day. After the class you will be able to buy your very own resin kit to take home and start the next step in your resin journey. 

**Upgrades **
Optional additional products can be made after the coasters and include side table, 2x additional coasters, serving trays. Prices for upgrades vary depending on stock available on the day.

My second resin course at River Shop and while it recapped on some of the elements of the first course this was more focussed on resin art rather than resin casting which was covered in the beginners epoxy resin workshop. New techniques were demonstrated and practical applications explained and then we were issued with resin and left to create our own 'masterpieces' - go easy with the resin, it needs to go a long way as there are four coasters to cover. All in all a fun informative course which I would recommend to anyone wishing to get an insight into how to create resin based art.

Absolutely amazing. Great teacher. Super patient, answering all our questions and equally educating us. Would definitely recommend and I plan to do more courses. Bonus of the day, knowing that after learning, I am able to purchase an item and create on to it also. Brilliant.

I was lucky enough to be invited to go with my friend Natalie to the Epoxy Resin Flower Coaster making class. Richard was a great teacher, explained everything and was very knowledgeable. It was a great way to spend a morning, it was my first time at a class in this area and will certainly be back again
